Patsy Lee Hall Phelps, 78 of Melbourne, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2024, at William Childs Hospice House after a long battle with cancer.

Patsy was born to Herman and Frances (Lewis) Hall. Patsy grew up in Cheatham County, Tennessee, and graduated from Cheatham County High School where she was a cheerleader and involved with FHA. She went on to attend MTSU and later Western Michigan University, where she earned her teaching degree.

She started the Culinary Arts program at Palm Bay High School in Melbourne, Florida and took great pride in that program and her students. She also made many amazing friends with the teachers that she taught with. Patsy could do just about anything she set her mind to. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, decorating and other creative ways of showing and sharing her love with others. Patsy was a loving and dedicated mom, sister, daughter, aunt, nana, teacher, friend and a dog mom to Lucy. She is loved and will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her son, Eric (Neizel) Phelps and her daughter, Stacey Parker; grandsons, Ryan Parker and Hunter Phelps who were the apples of her eye. Her brother, Steve (Pat) Hall, sister, Dee (Bill) Hall-Duke as well as her nieces and nephews, Josh (Rachel) Hall, Rachel (Jason) Hall-Kirk, Adam Duke, Caroline (Tristen) Duke-Moorehead. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Herman and Frances (Lewis) Hall.

A special heartfelt thank you to her oncologist, Dr. David Hei and staff, as well as her many wonderful friends and neighbors that stepped in and helped in countless ways over recent years. You all showed her so much love, kindness, and friendship.

She will be laid to rest in her hometown of Ashland City, Tennessee beside her parents at Mount Liberty Cemetery in Charlotte, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local animal shelter in her honor. Patsy had a fondness for westies, especially her own westie, Lucy.

Cremation was entrusted to a local Florida mortuary. This obituary is posted as a courtesy to the family and no local services are planned.
