Patsy Ruth (Williams) De Lemos, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, on July 14, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Robert Boyd Williams and Ada Ruth Tucker Williams Clifton. A member of Cheatham County High School’s Class of 1961, Patsy was a standout basketball player and salutatorian of her class. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Tennessee Tech and Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee and worked and retired from Bordeaux Hospital. Locally, Patsy worked for Lockert Drug in her hometown. Together with her husband of 49 years, the late Dennis De Lemos, she raised three children. Patsy was a member of Ashland City United Methodist Church and Victory Fellowship Church, where she volunteered faithfully and especially loved caring for the babies in the nursery. Devoted to her family, she loved attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. She treasured walks with her sister and enjoyed a deep and life-long connection to her “Home Sweet Home” on The Williams Family Farm. She also tended a bountiful vegetable garden and enjoyed playing cards at family gatherings. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Boyd Williams and Ada Ruth “Tootsie” Williams Clifton and her second father, Albert Clifton; husband of 49 years, Dennis De Lemos; and sister, Janice Clifton Allen. She is survived by her three children, Rachel (Steve) Giuffrida, Joseph (Aleja) De Lemos, and Samuel (Beth) De Lemos; grandchildren, Isabella Giuffrida, Lilianna Giuffrida, Francesca Giuffrida, Jose´ De Lemos, Max De Lemos, Pablo De Lemos, Abigail De Lemos, Caroline De Lemos, and Emily De Lemos; brother, James A. (Judith) Clifton; and sister, Martha Lynn (Darwin) Newton; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 1pm in the Sanctuary of Ashland City United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Adcock officiating. Visitation will be Friday, October 9th at the funeral home from 11am until 2pm and on Saturday at the church from 11am until service hour of 1pm. Following the service, Patsy wished to be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patsy’s memory may be made to The Gideons International or Pat Summitt Foundation for Alzheimer’s.
