Patricia Yvonne (Hamilton) Stroud, age 89, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed
away on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the Residence at Alive Hospice in
Nashville, Tennessee. She was born in Cheatham County, Tennessee, on
November 1, 1934, to the late Charlie Hamilton and Rebecca Christine (Williams)
Hamilton. She was a homemaker. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents,
Charlie and Rebecca Hamilton; husband, Ernest Stroud; daughters, Pamela
Hooper and Patricia Buchanan; brother, Oscar Hamilton; and grandsons,
Christopher and Derrick Tilghman. She is survived by her son, Rodger Stroud
(Shelia); daughter, Sheila Crouch (Jeff); grandchildren, Ryan Stroud (Kayla),
James Crouch (Rebecca), Angela Crouch, Jeremy Crouch (Hannah), and Staci
Jones; and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 8,
2024, at 12noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Tim Agee officiating.
Burial will follow in Mallory's Cemetery in Chapmansboro, Tennessee. Visitation will be
Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 3pm to 7pm and Thursday, February 8, 2024,
