Obituary

Patricia Ann Harris, 68 years young passed away at St. Thomas West Hospital on Saturday, February 15, 2020. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gaylon Harris, and her children, daughter, Cherri Denson (Bryan) and son, Adam Harris (Stacey); her grandchildren, Brooke Bischoff, Blake Bischoff, Isabelle Harris, Wyatt Harris, Bentlee Davis and one step-granddaughter, Ella Denson; three sisters, Susan Taylor, Loretta Davy, Linda Smith and one brother, David Smith; three step-brothers, Len Cornell (Vickie), Mike Cornell (Kandie) and Chris Cornell (Melissa), and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, Otho (Smitty) Smith and Shirley Tucker Cornell (Earl), precede her in death. She was a loving mother, housewife and employee of A.O. Smith Water Products for 45 years. She loved cooking, raising flowers, enjoyed reading and watching grandchildren playing in front yard. A graveside service will be Tuesday, February 18th, at 11:30am in Felts Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee, with Jon Forrest officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 17th, from 4pm to 8pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home and Tuesday, February 18th from 10am until 11am. Serving as pallbearers are Allen DeShields, Jordan Adkins, Bobby Joe Davy, Mike Cornell, Chris Cornell, Bryan Denson. Honorary pallbearers are Eric Johnson, Stan Entrekin, Roy Paul, Gary Hunter, and Timmy Farrell. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research.
