Pamela Kay Childress, age 66, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born in Hammond, Indiana, on November 14, 1957, to the late William Euguene Willis and Freda Jaunita Willis. She worked as a truck driver. Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, William and Freda Willis, and brother, Tom Merrit. She is survived by her loving husband, Vernon Childress; children, Mark Brown, Lorie Galardie, Nicole Stone, Melissa Casler; step-sons, Christopher Ard, Samuel Childress, and David Childress; brother, and William Willis; sisters, Nancy Wollack and Debbie Collins; grandchildren, Jacob, Hunter, James, Jessie, Christopher, Samantha, Scott, Sky, Blaise, Ava, Abby, Carly, Jacob, Noah, Abby, and Rachael; and 7 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 25, 2024, at 5pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Derek Wright officiating. Visitation will be the same day from 1pm until the service hour of 5pm.
