SKELTON, Osteen, age 79, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014. He was the son of the late William Harrison and Zula Belle Skelton. He was preceded in death by brothers, Emmitt Skelton, Gilbert Skelton and Otto Skelton and sister, Irene Skelton. He is survived by his brother, Harlin Skelton of Warren, MI; sisters, Eva Granaas, St. Claire Shores, MI and Neva (Robert) Risner, Waynesboro, TN. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Marzee Skelton; son, Darryl (Teresa) Skelton; daughters, Susan Wilson, Janice (Ken) Jones, and Marsha Kimsey and 7 grandchildren. He was a farmer and retired from Genesco of Nashville, TN. He was a member of the Clarksville Highway Church of Christ. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 4PM. Burial will follow in Ever Rest Memorial Gardens, Pleasant View, TN. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, September 2, from 5PM-8PM and Wednesday, September 3 from 11AM until service hour of 4PM.
