Mr. Oscar McDade Daniel, Sr., age 72, of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 15, 2021.

Oscar was born February 23, 1949 in Danville, Virginia to the late Charlie McDade Daniel of Gastonia, North Carolina and Mary Helen Travis of Danville, Virginia. He was the brother to five siblings, Tine Emerson of Danville, VA, Ann (Chuck) Matich of Jackson, GA, Ernest (Sheri) Daniel of Dallas, GA, Ronnie (Pam) Daniel of Lincolnton, NC, and the late Virginia (Bud) Carter of Dannville, VA. He married the love of his life, the recently deceased, Marlene Gibson Daniel on July 3, 1970. Oscar is survived by his two sons, Oscar Daniel, Jr. and Mark (Kelly) Daniel and two grandsons, Preston Daniel and Fort Daniel of Chapmansboro, TN.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM prior to the services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Chad Mossburg, Clay Bradshaw, Ronnie Daniel, Jr., Travis McAbee, Talon Gibson, Richard Abernathy, and honorary pallbearer Chad Acree.
