GENTRY, Orris "Vernon", age 76, passed away at TriStar of Ashland City on July 25, 2015. He was born in Kentucky on May 3, 1939, to Robert Lee Gentry and Ethel Moore Gentry. Vernon was a former owner of American Realtors in Ashland City, Tennessee, retiring as a realtor/broker. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bobby Gentry. He is survived by his sons: David, Jimmy, Johnny, Jimmy, and Jesse Gentry and William Gentry-Page (Catharine); daughters, Peggy Ittner, Dolores Kaufman Twitchell and Darlene Kaufman; sisters, Barbara Mowrey, Treva Gentry, Vicky Gentry, Vella Burton, and Shirley Williams; numerous grandchildren; and the mothers of his children, Shirley Twitchell and Terri Garrett.
