TROTTER, Ollie Mai, age 70, passed away on June 7, 2013, at St. Thomas Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Daisy Prater Hamblin; husband, James Edward Trotter, Sr.; son, James Edward Trotter, Jr.; and sister, Brenda Aldridge. She is survived by sons, Jack (Ellen) Trotter and Joseph Trotter; daughter, Connie Cottrell; brothers, George (Cathy) Hamblin, Albert and Elvis Hamblin; sisters, Geneva (Richard) Sissom, Violet Brandon, and Sherry (Joe) Davis; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Ms. Trotter was a member of the Apostolic Tabernacle Church in Ashland City, TN, and a retired custodian. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 10, 2013, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Doug Hanscomb and Pastor Scott Long officiating. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, June 9, 2013, from 1pm to 7pm and on Monday from 10am to service hour of 1pm. Pallbearers will be Jacob Trotter, Nicholas Trotter, William Webb, Nathan Cottrell, Steven Mullins, Danny Bowden and Patrick Spencer. Burial will be in the Ever Rest Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ms. Trotter's memory may be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
