Norma Williams, age 86, passed away on October 30, 2022, in Nashville, Tennessee. Norma was born in Grafton, West Virginia on September 22, 1936, to the late William and Mary A. (Powell) Mitter. She worked as a finance office clerk in medical offices. She was a member of the Highland Chapel Baptist Church in Pleasant View, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Mitter and her son, David Wayne Williams. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Williams; son, James Michael Williams (Regina); daughter, Rebecca Trantham (Ricky); brother, Rick Mitter (Linda); sisters, Margie Russell and Charlene Brooks; grandchildren, Ryan Trantham (Tabitha), Laura Nicole Taylor (Ryan), and Travis Trantham; and great grandchildren, Rebecca Rahlin Taylor, Benjamin Lee Taylor, Abigail Caroline Taylor, Mycah Joeleigh Taylor, Bishop Kane Taylor, Nicholas Lee Trantham, and Lydia Michelle Trantham. Funeral service will be Friday, November 4, 2022, at 12noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Gordon Beasley officiating. Visitation will be Friday, November 4, 2022, from 10am until the hour of service. Following the service, Mrs. Williams will be cremated.
