Nonnie B. Hunter, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Signature Healthcare in Portland, Tennessee. Nonnie was born in Liberty, Tennessee, to the late Joe Barrett and Clemintine Barrett. She was a retired self-employed barber. Nonnie is preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Hunter; son, Donnie Hunter; and six brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children: John Hunter, Jr, (Connie), Barry Hunter (Sandra), Theresa Embrey, Joe Hunter, Eddie Hunter (Debbie); sisters, Annette Cripps (Jerry) and Polly Bass (Bobby); 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Thursday, September 9th, at 1pm in the chapel with Randy Hester officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee.
