Nicholas Dolan Smith, age 78, passed away on September 6, 2023, at his home in Chapmansboro, Tennessee. Nicholas was born in Clarksville, Tennessee, on May 7, 1945, to the late David Buster Smith and Rena Lee Thompson. Nicholas was a college graduate with a degree in Biology and a U.S. Air Force/Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed many hobbies that included woodworking, working on old cars, muscle cars, racing dirt track and loved to fish. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Tennie Elizabeth Smith; Infant sisters, Margaret and Irene. He is survived by daughter, Tiana Chantel Moorhead; sisters, Lucy Laverne Thorson and Tina Irene Negrin (Francisco); grandchildren, Alexandra Leann Ernst and Brielle Raine Moorhead. Nicholas will be interred at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 2pm.
