STRINGFIELD, Mildred Louise, age 80, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at St. Thomas MidTown in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born January 27, 1936, in Kingston Springs, Tennessee, to John F. Jenkins and Nettie Vivian Green Jenkins. She worked as a homemaker, wife and mother. She is preceded in death by her parents, four siblings and three children. She is survived by her husband, John Robert Stringfield; sons, David Lewis Finch (Chris) and Billy Joe Finch; daughters, Frankie White (Jim), Jean Anderson, and Sarah Burnham; 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at 12:30 pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with David Lewis Finch officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, at 3pm. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 5th from 4 pm to 7pm, Monday, June 6th from 11am to 7pm and on Tuesday from 9am until service hour of 12:30pm.
