Michael "Mike" Wade Taylor, age 74, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Lebanon, Tennessee. Michael was born on March 11, 1952, in White Bluff, Tennessee, to the late John Taylor and Audrey Putman Taylor. He was a retired E5 Sergeant for the United States Army. He worked in construction following his retirement from the military. Michael was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Brenda Gale (Hudgens) Taylor; stepdaughter, Katherine Armilla Jaff; and brother, Barry Vance Taylor. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Tovar; stepson, Ronald Dewayne Hudgens (Kim); grandchildren, Bijian Jaff, Dawan Jaff, Jennifer Nicole Tovar and Brittney Alpirez Tovar. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 6pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Todd Lackey officiating. Visitation will be the same day from 3pm until the service hour of 6pm.

Burial will be Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 10am in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Bijian Jaff, Dawan Jaff, Carlos Dubon, Tomas Olivia, Nilson Zetino, and Brad Getz. Ronald Hudgens will be an honorary pallbearer.
