Michael James Paterson, age 48, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024. He was born in Fairfax, Virginia, on January 9, 1976, to James Harold Paterson and Lucinda Ann (Tinsley) Owens. He worked for Pasi as a collections manager. Michael is preceded in death by his father, James Harold Paterson; grandparents, Thomas and Virginia Paterson and Kirk and Aileen Tinsley; father in law, William Johnson; and uncle, Charlie Stewart. He is survived by his mother, Lucinda Owens(Joe); sons, Billy Paterson and Nate Hicks; daughter, Tinsley Paterson; brothers, Todd Paterson (Dana), Ryan Paterson (Diane), Jeff Owens (Shantelle) and Craig Owens; sisters, Christine Gibbons (Brad), Jamie Rikala (Ryan) and Lauren Best; best friends, Jason and Faye Leonard and Owen Adrian and several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 3pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Matt Cerda officiating.
