KING, Michael Bennett, Sr., age 51, passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on March 12, 1964, to Robert James King and Maxine Bennett King. He worked as a millwright and plumber for Vanderbilt University. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jimmy King. He is survived by his son, Michael Bennett King, Jr., his daughter, Brandy King; and his brother, Timothy King. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at 3pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dozier Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 23, 2015, from 4p to 7pm and on Saturday from 1pm until funeral hour of 3pm.
