Michael Dallas Denson, Jr., passed away on April 22, 2026, in Ashland City, Tennessee. Born on June 5, 1972, in Nashville, Tennessee, Michael dedicated his life to God, his family and especially his children.  He was a jack of all trades and considered a master in carpentry. Michael was a boss at raising game roosters.  He loved to make people smile and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Michael was born to Michael Dallas Denson, Sr. and Elizabeth Ann (Perry) Denson, who survive him. His legacy lives on through his children: sons Michael "Little Bubba" Denson (Maycie Phillips) and Nathan "Nate" Denson (Aubrie Cartelli); daughters Brittney Wolfenbarger (Weston), Ashton Denson (Justin Davidson), and Mika Denson (Shane Johnson). He was also a proud grandfather to Brayden, Oaklynn, Kinsley, Maevyn, Sylvia Rose, Wyatt and a grandchild expected soon, Ryleigh.

Michael is survived by his sisters, Kellie Brand and Tammy Spain (Mike), as well as a large and loving extended family which includes nieces Keylee Brand, Lexis Chambliss, and Paisley Brand, and nephews Gavin Ahmed, Christopher Brand (Christie), Tony Brand, Tyler Adcock, Blake Adcock (Bethany Adcock), Brian Spain, Steven Spain, Logan Brand, Christopher Brand, Jr., and Trey Brand.

A Funeral Service to honor Michael’s life will be held on April 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Cheatham County Funeral Home, located at 117 Elizabeth Street, Ashland City, Tennessee 37015. Friends and family are invited to gather to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a man whose hands helped shape many homes and whose spirit touched many lives.
