MELISSA DARLENE HENSON, age 55, passed away on May 2, 2018, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Darlene was born in Nashville, TN, on September 25, 1962, to the late Marvin Jackson and Johnnie Chase Jackson. She worked for the Cheatham County School System as a Dietary Aide. She is preceded in death by her parents: Marvin and Johnnie Chase Jackson and son, Daniel Henson. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Henson; daughter, Crystal (Josh) Thomas; brother, Jesse (Crystal) Jackson;two grandchildren, Perrin and Piper Thomas; plus several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Darlene will be Sunday, May 6, 2018, at 2:30pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Rosemary Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Church of Christ Cemetery in Ashland City, TN. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday, May 5th from 4pm to 7pm and on Sunday, May 6th, from 12noon until 2:30pm. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
