Melba Jean Taylor, age 67, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away at her residence on April 11, 2023. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on May 16, 1955, to William Robert Taylor, Sr., and Elsie Gladys (Waters) Taylor. She worked at Acme Boot. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Taylor, Sr., and Elsie Taylor; son, James Lee Coons; brothers, Jerry Wayne Taylor, William "Bit" Taylor, Walter Taylor, Donald Taylor, Kenneth Taylor, and Ricky Taylor; sister, Betty Jean Taylor; and great granddaughter, Braeighlee Coons. She is survived by her significant other of over 50 years, Jimmy Cunningham; sons, Leslie Cunningham (Nicole) and Clifton Cunningham (Mikki); daughter, Rebecca Fitzgerald (Bill); sisters, Linda Pinkerton (Howard), Gloria Biggs (Joe), and Sherry Biggs (Glenn); 16 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
