CARROLL, May D., age 74, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was a retired manager of The Tennessean newspaper (Cheatham County). She is preceded in death by her parents, Malloy Allison and Mary Pauline Glasgow Sesler. She is survived by her husband, Darryl R. Carroll of Ashland City, TN; daughters, Kay (Mike) Dale of Springfield, TN, Cindy (Greg) Williams of Chrlotte, TN, Evita (Steve) Miller of Chapmansboro, TN, and Angel (Tim) Harris of Chapmansboro, TN; son, Darryl (Mandy) Tomlin of Chapmansboro, TN; sister, Katherine (Arthur) Sensing of Charlotte, TN; grandchildren: Beth (Aron) Thomason, Matthew Dale, Aly (James) Boersma, Michael (Megan) Darnell, Jr., and Gregory Williams, Jr.; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday, June 15, 2012, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Church and Brother Joel Plunkett officiating. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 3pm to 8pm and on Friday from 10am until funeral hour of 2pm. Burial will follow in the Jackson's Chapel Cemetery in Charlotte, TN.
