May Eloise (Binkley) Denton of Ashland City age 80, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021. May was born December 31, 1940, in Cheatham County, Tennessee, to the late Ruse and Zeda "Simmons" Binkley. May Eloise attended Sycamore Chapel, Cheap Hill Church of Christ, and was a retired grocery store owner. She had a vivacious spirit and was loved by many. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Verner Orange, and Phillip Denton; sister, Virginia Rose; and daughter-in-law, Pam Orange. May Eloise is survived by son, Michael Verner Orange; daughters, Rhonda Orange Lain (Brian Lain), April Denton Cope (Jason); brother Delma Binkley; sister, Gertrude Moore; grandchildren, Chris Orange (Jackie), Mistie Orange (LA) Altom, Christie Orange (William) Busby, and Lanae Orange (Landon) Jones, Zane Denton, Delana and Zayden Cope; great-grandchildren, Trent Ross, Alexis Ross, Carter Altom, Katelyn, Aubrie, Abbie, Makenzie Busby, Gabrielle and Sayla Cruz Jones, Leigha & Kamden Denton ; and great-great-grandchild, Oaklynn Justice. Funeral service will be Thursday, July 15, 2021, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Kevin Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 3pm to 7pm and on Thursday, July 15, 2021, from 9am until service hour of 11am.
