Mary Ann Hampton, age 65, of Joelton, Tennessee, passed away in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday, March 6, 2023. She was born on May 23, 1957, to James Lockert Williams and Virginia Pauline (Humphreys) Williams. She was a devoted homemaker to her family and mother of her entire road. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Virginia Williams; and brother, James Lockert Williams. Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 38 years, Bobby Hampton; son, James Hampton (Rachel); daughter, Anna Gay (Ricky); granddaughter, Jaylen Gay; and her extended bonus family. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Roger Humphreys officiating. Burial will follow in H & G Family Cemetery in Joelton, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 3pm to 7pm and Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 11am until the hour of service at 1pm.
