Mary Alice Duncan, age 85, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tn. Mary was born in Buffalo Valley, Tennessee, on August 7, 1935, to the late William Douglas Rittenberry, Sr., and Alice Madewell Rittenberry. She was a homemaker to her family and will be greatly missed. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William F. "Gabby" Duncan; brothers, William Douglas "Buck" Rittenberry, Zan Rittenberry, and Eugene Rittenberry; and sisters, Jerri Ramsey and an infant sister. She is survived by her sons, Pod (Frances) Duncan and Jeff (Debbie) Duncan; grandchildren, P.J. Duncan, Jennifer Duncan, Timmy Duncan, Todd Duncan; great-grandchildren, Cortney (Tyler) Moore, Alexis Duncan, Zach Duncan, Wesley Dalrymple, Easton Duncan, Rylee Duncan. Funeral service will be Sunday, September 13, 2020, at 2:30pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham, LLC, in Pleasant View, Tennessee.
