DOZIER, Mary E., age 74, passed away on September 18, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Newland and Ethel Lee Reeves Newland and her 8 siblings. She is survived by her husband, Arnold Dozier; sons, Ray (Jenifer) Dozier and Rex Dozier; brothers, Tex (Liz) Newland, John (Marlene) Newland, Bruce (Nancy) Newland, and Herman (Sharon) Newland; sister, Dell Linthacum; 1 grandchild and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Thursday, September 25, 2014, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Newland Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, September 24th from 3pm to 7pm and on Thursday from 1pm to funeral hour of 2pm.
