Mary Dorothy Biggs, age 85, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on August 23, 2024, at Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Nashville, Tennessee. Dorothy was born in Savannah, Georgia, on May 13, 1939, to the late Eldred Don "Jack" Biggs Jr and Mary (Gannon) Biggs. Dorothy was a long-time parishioner of St. Martha's Catholic Church. She earned a Doctorate in Psychology and became a Clinical Therapist. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Eldred Don Biggs, III. She is survived in death by her sister Margaret "Peggy" Biggs McGuire, her nephews Tony McGuire and wife Carol, Don McGuire and his wife Sherri, her nieces Claudia McGuire and Dorothy Tipton. She is also survived by grandnieces and grandnephews as well as by her dear friends Alan and Andrea Pardue who were her Ashland City family. A Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy will be held at St. Martha's Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024, at 12 noon with Father Ben Butler officiating. Graveside service will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery at 9 a.m. in Cochran, Georgia, Friday, August 30, 2024, where she will be buried beside her loving parents.
