Mary Alene Allen, age 82, passed away on September 6, 2016. She was born in Cheatham County Tennessee, to Theodore Alexander Hollis and Addie Mae Lane. She was a housewife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Allen, son Gary Robert Allen, and brothers; James Lewis Hollis, Odell Hollis, Howard Hollis, and Bennie Hollis. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Debbie Hunter (Johnny), her sisters Betty Demonbreun, and Dot Noe (Jerry) ; and grandchildren Jeremy Whitworth (Jara), Brandon Whitworth (Candace), and her great-grandchildren Whit, Riley, Ridge, Allison, Creed, Aiden, and Cole Whitworth. Funeral Service will be Friday, September 9,2016 at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Rev. Penny Stratton officiating. Burial will follow in Neptune-Smith Cemetery in Ashland City ,Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 4pm until 8pm, and on Friday September 9, 2016 from 10am until service time at 1pm.
