Marvin Eugene White, age 79, of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, passed away at HillCrest Health Care Center in Ashland City, Tennessee, on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. He was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, on August 16, 1943, to the late Dewey White and Roxie (Dismang) White. He was a factory worker in the steel industry. Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Roxy White; brothers, Ed White, Jimmy White, and Leon White; and sisters, Mildred Hendrix, Barbara Williams, and Christine Belcher. He is survived by his son, Paul Lee White; sisters, Betty Belcher and Julia Bowman (Cliff); nephew, Michael Williams; special niece and caregiver, Tonya Pursley; several nieces and nephews; and three grandchildren. Funeral service will be Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 3pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Friendship FWB Church Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 12noon until the service hour of 3pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Belcher, Joe Patterson, Stephen Williams, Andrew Williams, James York, and Eddie Williams. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Cliff Bowman.
