Martha (Davidson) Perry, age 80, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away at her home on Sunday, August 13, 2023. She was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, on January 22, 1943, to the late Woods Davidson and Bessie (Krantz) Davidson. She worked at Cigna Life Insurance as a clerk for 22 years. Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Woods and Bessie Davidson; brothers, Earl Davidson, Adrain Davidson, Alvin Davidson, Elton Davidson, and Ray Davidson; and sisters, Frances Hampton and Christine Wilson. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Owen Perry; daughter, Marlene Patton (Marty), granddaughter, Brooke Underwood; great granddaughter, Cora McDuffee; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend since childhood, Joyce Fay Shepler. Memorial service will be Friday, August 18, 2023, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with nephew Mark Smith and brother-in-law Don Moore officiating. A private family burial will be in EverRest of Cheatham in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be Friday, August 18, 2023, from 10am until the hour of service at 1pm.
