OWEN, Martha F. "Cotton", age 89, passed away on January 2, 2015. She was born March 3, 1925, to Ramah Shaw Nicholson and Bertie Stuart Nicholson in Cheatham County/Neptune Community, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Clarence Owen, Jr.; 1 brother and 3 sisters. She is survived by her two daughters, Martha "Nicki" O. Sanders and Helen Frances Owen; two brothers, Bobby Gene Nicholson and Kenneth "Shag" Shaw Nicholson; and 3 grandchildren. Cotton was a member of the Ashland City United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be Monday, January 5, 2015, at 6pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Rev. Penny Stratton officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 5th from 3pm to 6pm. Burial will be Tuesday, January 6th at 11am in Forest Hill Cemetery in Ashland City, TN.
