Justice, Marilyn H. "Miss Sweetie"- Age 92, born July 28, 1923 passed peacefully on the evening of Saturday, April 30, 2016. Miss Sweetie was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert W. "Mr. Hoover" Justice; her parents Robert and Ruby Humphreys, her brother Robert Humphreys (Rosa Mary) and Sisters Agatha Cook (David) and Jean Key (Buford). She is survived by her son, Terry (Gail) grandsons Price and Todd; daughter, Faye Justice Silva and Sister Georgetta Hunt (Leonard) and extended family of 4 generations and endearing friends.
Miss Sweetie was a life-long resident of Neptune except for the 3 years that she spent with Mr. Hoover as he served in the US Army during World War II. She was born on the farm that adjoins the little piece of heaven at the end of Neptune Road.
Miss Sweetie farmed faithfully alongside Mr. Hoover. She was skilled in milking cows, planting and harvesting crops; made the best grape jelly from her own vineyard and always grew a garden of veggies worthy of the Tennessee State Fair which fed the family well. She also worked with the Allen Family when they operated the Cheap Hill Store.
In retirement, she and Mr. Hoover toured every state in the USA and traveled internationally. Life was good. She was first and foremost a Christian and a very active member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church for 60 years. She taught her peer groups' Sunday School Class up until last year. She was Church Secretary for many years and sang in the choir. She was always willing to play piano if no one was available. She loved her Church Family and knew her Bible as well as any Emory or Duke Scholar.
Her Family extends gratitude to the Staff of Vantage Pointe Village in Ashland City and the many residents who became her friends during the past 5 months. Thanks to the Staff of Centennial Medical Center in Ashland City and the 7th Floor Nurses in Nashville. A special thanks to Furrukh Malik, MD for his compassionate counsel.

Funeral Services are slated for Thursday May 5th at 5 PM at the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church with visitation prior to the Service from 3 to 5.
