Obituary

Marilyn Louise Keiser, 79, of Ashland City, TN, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 at Centennial Hospital at 10:00 AM related to complications from Lung Cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Ethel Simpson and a brother Kenneth Simpson. She was born October 27, 1932 in Ashland, OH and graduated from Ashland High School. She then resided in Mansfield and worked at Hartman Electric for 12 years before moving to Florida and proceeded to work at Disney World until she retired. After retirement, she moved to Ashland City and worked in the cafeteria at Cheatham County Schools until about 2010.
She is survived by her husband Steve Keiser, brothers Dean and Donald Simpson of Ashland, OH; 3 daughters and their spouses: Cheryl & Michael Jackson of Ashland City, TN; Teri & Jody Thompson of Chattanooga, TN; Tina Keiser of Mansfield, OH; 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a great mother, grandmother and a wonderful friend to those that knew her. She will be greatly missed by all. She loved collecting bears, Disney characters and her favorite color was red.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or your local Hospice Care Center. Cheatham County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
