Maria Del Carmen Aguilar Flores, 60, of Ashland City, Tennessee departed this life on March 28, 2026, at her home.
She was born March 16, 1966, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to the late J. Jesus Aguilar Salazar and Ambrosia Flores Moreno. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jorge Elizondo Zavala.
She was a long-time member of Iglesia Sagrado Corazon de Jesus Catholic Church. She worked as a house cleaner for many years. She loved gardening and tending to her flowers. If you knew her you knew she was a brave mother of 4 beautiful children. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
She leaves behind her sons, Ricardo Elizondo, Marco Antonio Elizondo, and Jorge Alberto Elizondo; daughter, Erika Jaqueline Elizondo; brothers, Ermenegildo Aguilar and Jesus Aguilar; sisters, Ana Delia Aguilar, Olivia Aguilar, Veronica Aguilar, Irais Aguilar, and Antonia Aguilar; and grandchildren, Aaron Elizondo, Julian Melendez, Sofia Melendez, Rodrigo Elizondo, Camila Elizondo, Ruben Elizondo, and Fabian Elizondo.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 8:30am at Iglesia Sagrado Corazon de Jesus Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 10am in Joelton Hills Memory Gardens in Joelton, Tennessee. Serving as pallbearers will be Ricardo Elizondo, Marco A. Elizondo, Jorge Elizondo, and Martin Melendez.
