Margie "Marie" Schubert, age 87, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on September 13, 2024, at her home in Nashville, Tennessee. Margie was born in Livingston, Tennessee, on June 27, 1937, to the late Frank Howard McDonald and Myrtle Carr. She was a homemaker to her family and a member of Faith Community Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Howard McDonald and Myrtle Carr; brother Bill McDonald; son, Kenny Schubert; and daughter, Margie Schubert. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Schubert; son, Samuel Schubert; daughter, Janet Thompson (Robert); 7 grandchildren, Wendy England, Jason Schubert, Joshua (Allison) Thompson, Lucas (April) Thompson, John Thompson, Jessica Schubert, and Adam Schubert; and 18 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joshua Thompson, Lucas Thompson, John Thompson, Jason Schubert, Adam Schubert, and Allen England. Funeral service for Margie will be Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Maston Jackson officiating. Visitation will be Monday, September 16, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Tuesday before the service from 10 to the service hour of 11 a.m. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Green Acres Memory Gardens in Crossville, Tennessee.
