Margery "Marge" Bickel Coventry, age 96, passed away December 26, 2017, at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Ashland City, TN. Margery was born in Coffee County, Tennessee, on April 5, 1921, to the late F.E. and Hessie Gaither Bickel. She was a United States Navy Veteran, serving with the WAVES during WWII, and a graduate of the University of Miami with a BBA in Business Administration. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon D. Coventry; her parents; and her brothers, Clark and Vernon Bickel. She is survived by her children: daughter, Suzanne (Ronald) Hunt of Ashland City, TN, and son, James F. Coventry of Toms River, NJ. A memorial visitation will be held at Cheatham County Funeral Home on Thursday, January 11, 2018, from 4pm to 7pm. Mrs. Coventry's remains will be placed at rest in the National Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday, January 12, 2018, at 1pm with military honors performed.
