BRACEY, Malcolm Edward, age 80, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 27, 2016, after a long illness. He was born in Cheatham County, Tennessee, on January 9, 1936, to Willie E. and Christine Harris Bracey. Malcolm was a United States Air Force Veteran. He worked in maintenance until retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Christine Bracey and brother, Kendall Bracey. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Scott Bracey; son, Darian Bracey (Heather); daughters, Pam Sexton (Billy); Dede Tidwell (Norman) and Denise Anderson (Doug); sisters, Bettina Shivers, Teresa Krantz (Gary), and Conniece Jackson; grandchildren, Joshua Sexton (Ashley), D.J. Anderson, Cara Barnes (Rick), Hunter Anderson (Laura), Ryan Shivers, Christopher Bracey, Savannah Anderson, Matthew Bracey, and Lawson Tidwell; and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at 4pm with Brother Brad Shockley officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 31st from 3pm to 7pm and on Wednesday from 11am until service hour of 4pm.
