Obituary

Lynn Bennett, age 74, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born on August 10, 1950, in Mississippi. Her family will fondly remember her as "The Duke." She worked as an Electronics Manager for Walmart and also for Tucker's Grocery. Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Betty (Reed) Sanders; husband, Curtis Randall Bennett; and sister, Lisa (Sanders) Hollis. She is survived by her son, Troy Holder (Jennifer); brother, Alex Sanders; sisters, Patsy Hudgens (Mike) and Becky Rothman (Donnie); grandchildren, Aubrey Holder (Tina), Camden Holder, Landon Holder, Caleb Egli, and Lacy Harris (Case); and great grandchildren, Curtis Hyde, Jr., Jaelynn Grace Hyde, and Riley Holder. Funeral service will be Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Felts Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 2pm to 6pm and Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 12noon until the service hour of 2pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Aubrey Holder, Camden Holder, Alex Sanders, Mike Hudgens, Donnie Rothman, and Tanner Hudgens.
