Linda Darlene Hood, age 71, passed away on March 30, 2025. Linda was born in Detroit, Michigan, on January 17, 1954, to the late Ellis William Hill, Sr. and Mary Irene (Tupper) Hill. She was a nutritionist for Metro Public Schools and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children: Terry Amis, Jr., (Betsy), Robert "Bobby" Amis (Cyndi), Jereme Amis, James Reese Amis (Dianna), and Janie Reese (Sonna Duke); sister, Violet Vaughan (James); and several loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ellis Hill, Jr., Robert Hill, and Tony Hill; and sisters, Catherine Hill and Mary Allen.
