Linda Lafay Cantrell, age 82, passed away Monday evening, August 18, 2025, at Hillcrest HealthCare Center in Ashland City, Tennessee. Linda was born in Bell Buckle, Tennessee, on April 11, 1943, to the late Grady Lafayette Sartain, Sr., and Mary Elizabeth (Jordan) Sartain. She spent much of her life as a homemaker and caring for foster children. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jamie Cantrell; granddaughter, Heather Lindeman; and brothers, Grady "Sandy" Lafayette Sartain, Jr. and Connie "Brooks" Sartain. She is survived by her son, Jody Cantrell (Vanessa Stickler); daughter Lora Lafay Cantrell; grandchild, J.T. Cantrell; and great-granddaughter, Ava Rebel Shell.
