Leslie "Les" C. Reed, age 60, of Ashland City, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Kathryne England Reed. He is survived by his loving wife, Harriett Story Reed; son by choice, "Monkey" Hudson; sons by marriage, John McCarthy, Dean Rogers, and Jeremy Petty; daughters, Angela McCarthy, Marietta Rogers, Denise Petty, daughter by choice, Teresa Walsh, and daughter by marriage, Melody Hudson; brother, Clate (Ann) Reed; sisters, Kathy (Chris) Reed, Becky (George) Betts, and Donna (Bobby) Davis; grandchildren, Kayla, Austin, Reed, Ves, Anna, Ashton, Lexi, Dustin, Chase, Hunter, Katelynn and Kendahl; great-grandchild, Ryder. Funeral service will be held Friday, July 20, 2012, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Bro. Brian O'Neal officiating. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm, Thursday from 10am until 8pm and on Friday from 10am until 2pm. Burial will be in Reed Cemetery in Ashland City, TN. Serving as pallbearers will be: Grady Toler, Brian Best, Jeffery Petty, Dan Reigle, Jay Morris, and Mike Gibbs. Honorary Pallbearers: The Weekly Place Hunting Club.
