Leonard Lawrence Crouch, age 86, passed away at his home on Monday, December 18, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Leonard was born in Cheatham County, Tennessee, on December 30, 1936, to the late William McKinley Crouch and Leonta (Hooper) Crouch. He was a Christian who loved Jesus and worshipped at the Ashland City Church of Christ, retired from water maintenance at River Road Utility District. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Billy Crouch; and sisters, Dorothy Patton, Vivian Brake, June Nixon, and Doris McQueen. He is survived by his wife, Wanda June (Stubblefield) Crouch; sons, Jimmy (Patty) Harden and Keith (Tonya) Crouch; daughter, Kathy Luper; 5 grandchildren: Josh (Jason Wysocki) Luper, Lacey (John) Hall, Nick (Kate) Luper, Spencer Crouch, Mercedes (Tezzy) Crouch-Franklin; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Eugene (Caroline)
Crouch; and sister, Janie Foutch. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Friday, December 22, 2023, at 11am at Ashland City Church of Christ with Brother Drake Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the funeral home from 4pm to 7pm and resume Friday at the church before the service from 10 am until the service hour of 11 am. Serving as active pallbearers will be John Hall, Nick Luper, Spencer Crouch, Lee Foutch, Tommy Crouch, and Darryl Lovell. Honorary pallbearers are Josh Luper, Tucker Hall, Wayne Crouch, Robert Crouch, Jonathan Williamson, and Ken Duke.
