CORNELL, Leonard Earl, age 80, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fitzhugh Lee Cornell and Mary Lou McGee Cornell; wife and mother of his children, Mary Ann Cornell and wife Shirley Cornell; and three brothers. He is survived by his children: Leonard E. (Vicky) Cornell, Jr., Michael (Kandie) Cornell, Chris (Melissa) Cornell, and David Smith; daughters, Patricia (Gaylon) Harris, Susan Taylor, Loretta Davy, and Linda (Stan) Entrekin; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. Mr. Cornell was a retired tobacco farmer. A graveside service will be held at Moore Cemetery in Dover, TN, on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 11am. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
