BAKER, Leo, age 95, passed away on December 10, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew B. and Mary Lou Carrigan Baker; brothers, Roy and Henry Baker; sisters, Rebecca Clifton and Christina Wortham. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Mellinee Batts Baker; sister, Annie Laura Harper; brother-in-law, H.R. Wortham and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 13, 2012, at 12noon at the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in Ashland City, TN, with Bros. Terry Forrest, Jon Forrest and Barry Raper officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm at the funeral home and on Thursday, Mr. Baker will lie in state at the church from 10am until service hour of 12noon. Serving as pallbearers: David Shores, Jim Milom, Chris Milom, Darrell Gupton, Robert Nicholson, Travis Knox. Honorary pallbearers: Billy Aust, Sam Austin, Tommy Badders, Jerry Moore, H.R. Wortham, James Batts, Jimmy Clifton, Lonnie Harper, Billy Milom, and James Gary. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.
