Jones, Lee Samuel "Sammy", age 68, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 12, 2014. Sammy was born on February 10, 1946, to Paul Estil and Annie Etter Jones in Pathfork, Kentucky. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam conflict. He worked as a telephone installer for 15 years at Indiana Bell in Indianapolis, Indiana, before coming to reside in Ashland City, TN, in 1982. Many will know him from working at Coakley's Market in Ashland City, his business alongside his wife called L&T Communications, installing phone and alarm systems, and through his work with his brother, Johnny H. Jones, at Cheatham County Funeral Home. Sammy enjoyed photography and was an avid reader, gardener, history buff and a bluegrass enthusiast. Sammy is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, A.J., James and Carl Jones, and sister, Queena Faye Jones. Sammy is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Teresa Gross Jones; daughter, Ellen Snyder, LMT, and her husband Christopher D. Snyder; granddaughter, Kalynn Parham; grandsons, Tony L. Parham, II, Nick Snyder, and CJ Snyder; great-grandchildren, Jayden Lee and Jonah Samuel; sisters, Eva Lou (Ben) Clark, Sue (Bill) Cooper; brothers, Joe (Sylvia) Jones, Johnny (Shirley) Jones, Jerry (Alice) Jones. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Mike Dankson officiating. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, July 19th from 10am until service hour of 2pm.
