HARRIS, Laura J., age 86, passed away at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas Hospital on December 31, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Whit Hight Cole and Mary J. Cole; husbands, Jesse Thomas Neely and Clyde Harris; son, Jesse Thomas Neely, Jr.; daughter, Brenda Neely; stepdaughter, Barbara; brother, Jesse Cole; sisters, Alma Williams and Rena Payne; and grandson, Bobby Ray Reeder, III. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Joe) Keller, Janice (Jeff) Morris; stepchildren, Regina, Larry and Jeff; 7 grandchildren: Janice Jordan, Jeffrey Morris, Jr, Dianna Huff, David Ellis, Joey Keller, Brandy Phillips, Michael Primm; and 7 great-grandchildren. Ms. Harris was a retired supervisor from Better Built Aluminum Products. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 4, 2014, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Trail and Bro. Cliett Goodpasture officiating. Burial will be in the Harris Cemetery in Chapmansboro, TN, with family serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, January 3, 2014, from 3pm to 7pm, Friday, 12noon to 7pm and on Saturday from 10am until service hour of 1pm.
