LARRY DEAN HUNTER, age 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. He was born in Henrietta, Tennessee, on January 26, 1934, to Charles Cullum Hunter and Eva Hutcherson Hunter. He was a member of Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ and worked for Gupton and Beasley International Harvester formerly located in Ashland City, TN, as well as Western Auto as a mechanic. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Charles C. Hunter and Eva Hutcherson Hunter; brothers, Gary Dale Hunter and Buford Hunter; and sister, Fay Milam. He is survived by his loving wife, Ethelene Hunter; sons, Johnny (Debbie) Hunter and Dean (Cindy) Hunter; brothers, Glendon Hunter, Jackie (Judy) Hunter, George Hunter and Harvey Hunter; sisters, Hilda (Paul) Clay, Betty Lou Batey, Cherry (Donald) Ellis; half-sisters, Frances Seay and Pauline Powers; grandchildren, Brandy (Brandon) McCarver, Amanda Hunter, and Jeffrey Hunter; and great-grandchildren, Kaylie and Kensley. Funeral service will be Friday, September 23, 2016, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Reverend Penny Stratton officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Friday before the service from 10am until service hour of 2pm.
