Larry Davis Glaus, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center in Ashland City, Tennessee. Larry was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on September 3, 1941, to the late John G. and Beryl (Hyde) Glaus. He was a United States Navy veteran and a retired mechanic for Roadway. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mildred (Scott) Glaus; and son, David Glaus. He is survived by his daughter, Shannon (Tommy) Nicholson; 5 grandchildren, Erin Glaus, Justin (Heather) Nicholson, Adam Glaus, Brandon (Charlot) Nicholson, and Manning Glaus; and 5 great-grandchildren, Jayden, Carter, Greyson, Hammond, and Oliver Nicholson. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 9am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Ken Glaus officiating. Burial will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 2pm to 7pm and on Thursday, December 23rd from 8am until service hour of 9am. Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Nicholson, Justin Nicholson, Brandon Nicholson, Manning Glaus, Ken Glaus, and Mike Flowers.
