SMOCK, Kenny Dewayne, age 52, born February 24, 1961, and passed away on May 25, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Hershel Smock; and sisters, Sheila Smock and Joy Head. He is survived by his wife, Shana Smock; children, Jesse Smock and Joanna Smock; mother, Katherine Watts Smock; brother-in-law, Wayne Head; nieces, Marla (Scott) Whalen, Lindsay Head; mother and father-in-law, Floyd "Bubba" and Ina Louallen; brothers-in-law, Chris (Samantha) Louallen and Ty (Mandy) Louallen; sister-in-law, Shelley (Jeff) Newman; nieces, Morgan Louallen, Danielle (Jeff) Arnold, Desiree Woodard, and nephew, Owen Newman. Kenny was a graduate of Cheatham County Central High School and a farmer by trade. He was a loving husband, father, and son. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Derek Batts officiating. Burial will follow in the Will Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, TN. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Carney, Myles Nelson, Dan Dowlen, Chris Louallen, Ty Louallen, and John Justice. Honorary pallbearers: Floyd Louallen, Wayne Head, Wayne Morris, Don Balthrop, Charles Boyte, Robert Head, Mike Justice, Michael Binkley, Jim Atkins; and also all of his friends (too many to name). Visitation with the family will be Monday from 4pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, 2pm to 8pm, and Wednesday, 10am until service hour of 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kenny's memory may be made to the Cheatham County Cattlemen's Association Scholarship Fund or Will Smith Cemetery.
