PINSON, Kenneth Allen, age 82, passed away on November 30, 2015, at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was born in Cheatham County, Tennessee, on December 6, 1932, to Toney and Sally Tyree Pinson. He was a United States Navy Veteran, serving proudly during the Korean Conflict. Kenneth worked and retired from the Ashland City Water Department. Kenneth will be long remembered by his acquaintances for his sense of humor and his service to his country. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed gardening and above all his greatest joy was his wife, Shirley. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley Pinson; and several siblings. He is survived by his special relatives, Mary Beth Grubb, Cindy (Allen) Ferrell, Alaina and Justin Ferrell and Amber Lisfey; sister, Ruth who resides in Knoxville, Tennessee, her sons, a host of other loving family members, and his beloved pet bird, Budgie. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015, from 10am until 11am. A graveside service will follow in Neptune-Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee, with military honors.
