Kathy F. (Forbes) Cushman, age 70, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, at her home. She was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, on October 5, 1953, to the late Donald Forbes and Iris (Stewart) Forbes. She worked as an accounting clerk for Walmart. She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Iris Forbes; son, John Keith Cushman; and brother, Hubert Alton Forbes. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Cushman; daughter, Angela Heine (Jon); and grandchildren, Dylan and Abby Heine. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Hugh Atkins officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be the same day from 9am until the service hour of 1pm. Serving as pallbearers will be George Atkins, John Atkins, Patrick Atkins, Craig Empson, Dylan Heine, and Jerry Forbes. Honorary pallbearer will be Wade Scholes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cheatham County Animal Control. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Adoration Hospice.
