JOHNSON, Katherine Virginia (Pardue), age 91, passed away on September 11, 2013, at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lambert H. and Zettie Spann Pardue; husband, Joseph (Joe) Johnson; daughter, Peggy Omtvedt; and son, Tommy Daniel Johnson. She is survived by her daughters, Mary E. Shaw (Robert L. Shaw) of Florence, MS, and Billie J. Neil of Charlotte, TN; son, Jerry E. Johnson (Joy Johnson) of Pleasant View, TN; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday, September 13, 2013, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Rev. Don Winn officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Liberty Cemetery in Charlotte, TN. Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Neil, Bobby Shaw, Cody Lane, Bill Moffitt, Jesse Moffitt, and Tommy Johnson, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are the Quilters of Ashland City Senior Citizens, Olive Pardue, Jr., Lenny Andrews, Jimmy and Johnny Primm, Roy Omtvedt, and Eric Johnson. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, September 12, 2013, from 3pm to 8pm and on Friday, September 13th from 9am until service hour of 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mt. Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, Tennessee.
